Living with Diabetes
First Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. Manhattan Medical Group offers diabetes education and support programs at the Riley County Seniors' Service Center. Each month's program has a different theme. Alzheimer's Caregivers Support Group Second Monday, 1:30 p.m. Provides emotional, educational, and social support to members through monthly meetings. It is an opportunity to connect with others who share the same experiences and struggles in caring for a loved one with a dementia diagnosis. We ask that only caregivers attend the support meetings. Eyeglass Adjustments
Second Thursday, 11:00 a.m. Vision Source—Optical Perspectives offers free eyeglass adjustments. Hearing Aid Cleanings Second Thursday, 11:30 a.m. Dr. Katie Bunker of Advanced Audiology offers free hearing aid cleanings. Foot Care Select Wednesday Mornings Hermes Healthcare (from Wichita) offers quality foot care on select clinic dates. Midweek Treats Third Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. Jacquie Mack from Angels Care Home Health leads a monthly discussion (with sweet treats!) Coming up she is covering pain management, HIV, dehydration, and many others. |
